App Description
What The Plate is an AI-powered meal tracking application that estimates the nutritional content of meals. The App is available via a free or paid subscription through app stores (Apple App Store and Google Play Store). Users can sign in using Apple or Google authentication.
Account Registration and Authentication
By creating an account using Apple or Google, you agree to the terms and policies of these platforms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

- One person or entity may not maintain more than one account
Paid Subscription and Billing
The App offers additional premium features through a paid subscription. Payment for subscriptions is processed via the app stores where the App is available. By subscribing, you agree to the terms of the app store, including their refund policies.
What The Plate offers a subscription service with a 7-day free trial. By starting a free trial, you agree to:
- The subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled
- Cancellation must be done through your app store account
- Refunds are handled according to app store policies
Subscriptions renew at the end of each billing period (as shown in your app store). You can turn off auto-renew in your app store settings at least 24 hours before renewal. Price changes, if any, follow app store rules and notifications.
Use of AI for Nutrition Estimates
What The Plate utilizes AI technology to estimate the nutritional content of meals. The estimates provided by the AI are based on various factors, including the images and data you submit.

- The nutritional estimates provided by the App are approximations and should not be considered accurate or as a substitute for professional dietary advice.
- We are not responsible for any inaccuracies in the AI-generated nutritional data, and you acknowledge that the App may not capture the full range of ingredients, portion sizes, or nutritional content of meals.
User Responsibilities
You agree not to:
- Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair any of our servers or interfere with any other party's use of the App.
- Upload or submit any false or misleading information or data.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems.
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
- Upload content that infringes on others' rights
- Attempt to reverse engineer the application
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use automated systems to access the service
Content Ownership and License
You retain ownership of the content you upload (including meal photos). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and process that content to operate and improve the App and its AI-powered meal analysis. You must have the rights to the content you upload, and we may remove content that violates these Terms.
Health Disclaimer
The App is designed for general meal tracking purposes and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. The App should not be relied upon for medical or health advice. Always consult with a healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet or health routine.
Limitation of Liability
